On hwy. 3 north of cemetery is a dirt road that leads to the cemetery. Much easier then going through the barbed wire fence and you do not need to park on the highway. You can see the cemetery from the highway, it is on a knoll.

Hedley Cemetery is a most interesting place to visit as it dates back when Hedley was a booming mining town. The first burial at the Hedley Cemetery took place in 1911 and was Alice Gillespie who died on April 18, 1911. There are 254 known burials based on available cemetery records.

Now mostly overgrown, this is considered a "ghost town" cemetery. Many are unmarked and "Known only to God".
