First known owner of the 3 decker was John P Troupes who ran a billiard hall on Green St. Beginning as an Irish neighborhood, by the 1920's it was increasingly occupied by Polish and Lithuanian families. Once sheathed in clapboard, artificial siding has been used as a replacement, however the outside balconies were kept.
