One might quibble with the description, but they are definitely referring to the same courthouse: The stone is more of a pink color than gray, and note that renovations have changed the look of the tower multiple times (a Google search will yield different appearances over time), such as the tower's having a very distinct bronze color, and there is no longer a flag staff. With that said, it is impossible to miss this clock tower on a visit to Fort Worth, as the courthouse is visible and prominent from a distance.

Documented History (by the NGS)

01/01/1935 by CGS (FIRST OBSERVED)
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1935 (CAS) THIS INTERSECTION STATION IS THE TOWER ON THE TARRANT COUNTY COURTHOUSE, IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS. IT IS ON THE CENTER OF THE BUILDING, ABOUT 160 FEET NW OF THE END OF MAIN STREET AND THE CENTER LINE OF WEATHERFORD STREET, ABOUT 220 FEET SW OF THE CENTER LINE OF COMMERCE STREET, ABOUT 150 FEET NE OF THE CENTER LINE OF HOUSTON STREET. THE BUILDING WAS COMPLETED IN 1895 AND THE TOWER IS VERY PROMINENT. THE TOWER IS ON THE GREY STONE COURTHOUSE, WHICH IS ABOUT 80 FEET HIGH. THE LOWER PART OF THE TOWER IS A GREY STONE STRUCTURE WITH AN ARCHED LOUVRED OPENING ON EACH SIDE, AND A ROUND PILLAR ON EACH SIDE OF EACH OPENING. THIS SECTION IS ABOUT 25 FEET HIGH. ABOVE THIS THERE IS A SMALLER SILVER TOWER ABOUT 20 FEET HIGH WITH A BLACK CLOCK DIAL ON EACH SIDE. THE ROOF OF THE TOWER IS A SILVER DOME ABOUT 12 FEET HIGH. FROM THE CENTER OF THE DOME AN OCTAGONAL PEDESTAL ABOUT 4 FEET HIGH RISES. THIS HAS A SEMI-SPHERICAL TOP AND A BALL AT ITS APEX. FROM THE BALL A FLAGSTAFF RISES ABOUT 8 FEET. THE TOTAL HEIGHT IS ABOUT 150 FEET. THE ENTIRE DOME IS COVERED WITH ELECTRIC BULBS. THE BULBS ARE ILLUMINATED AT NIGHT. THE DOME IS WHITE AND THE PEDESTAL IS RED IN COLOR.
