Ford City Community Garden was established in 2010 with a mission to enrich the lives and diet of urban residents through environmentally sustainable gardening programs that empower people to experience a direct and deep connection with plants, the land and each other. The group has a coordinator from the Community Garden Network that helps the residents to grow together- in many ways! The garden provides much needed fresh fruits and vegetables free for the taking, a community bulletin board and even a Little Free Library with childrens books to borrow.
