In Kennedy Commons in downtown Anaconda are several replicas of the original light standards once used in the downtown area, all of which are dedicated to past citizens of the area.

This lamp post was dedicated to the memory of Norma McLean, a past resident of Anaconda.
Norma was born Norma S. Pederson in Anaconda on November 7th, 1921, the daughter of Nels D Pederson and Sevrine Olsdtr Fleten, both of whom were born in Norway and emigrated to the US. On October 18, 1940, at the age of 18, she was married to James D. McLean in Anaconda. Jim served overseas in the war, after which they opened the Parkway Savings Center grocery store, which they operated until 1961.
Norma passed away on May 9th, 1994 and is interred in the Sunset Cemetery in Gregson, Silver Bow County, Montana, a suburb of Butte.
