Revitalisation of town center - 2009-2010 - Novy Hradek, Czech Republic - Dated Architectural Structures Multifarious on Waymarking.com

The center of Nový Hrádek was revitalisated during 2009-2010 thanks to the assistance of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Revitalization project was about the reconstruction of the square, including sidewalks with barrier-free features, road reconstruction and fountains.

European Regional Development Fund (ERDF)
The ERDF is the biggest of the structural funds in terms of money. It focuses on modernising and strengthening the economy. As its resources are intended for all three objectives of the 2007-2013 programming period, its scope is broad and extends into many areas. The ERDF supports investment (infrastructure) projects, such as construction of roads and railways, rehabilitation of contaminated sites, building of waste-water treatment systems, innovation and entrepreneurship, development and renewal of sports facilities and grounds, reconstruction of cultural monuments, planting of regenerative vegetation, construction and repair of health care infrastructure, and implementation of electronic public administration services.
