Samuel Pratt was born May 3, 1758. He died Nov 23, 1831.

His marker indicates that he was a soldier during the Revolutionary War. the DAR list him on their list of known soldiers graves for Genesee County. A search of War and pension records indicate that he most likely served in Massachusetts or Connecticut before settling in this area.

The gravesite of Pte Daniel Roberts is also located in this cemetery.
