The Blue Flash is my name for this sculpture, its a description rather than a title. From some directions the sculpture looks like an electrical flash, from other directions, if you have a vivid imagination, it looks like a blue horse. This painted steel art work is over 10 feet tall. There are no plaques or signs evident near this contemporary sculpture.
The steel abstract-geometric sculpture is by Leeper, Doris Marie is on display in the Frischer Sculpture Garden. Located in the grounds of the Daytona Museum of science & Art. Entry to the grounds & parking is free Tuesday to Sunday 9am to 5pm.
