Eight slabs about 8 feet 9 inches tall are set in a grassy area of the Nielsen Garden in Alton Baker Park. They occupy an area about 32 feet wide. The concrete slabs have different shapes, face in different directions and some have geometric holes carved through them. The artists name TOWNLEY can be found on five of the slabs. From the Smithsonian AIC Remarks:
Funded with a National Endowment for the Arts, Art in Public Places grant given in 1974 to the City of Eugene.
