South of the Oxley Highway is Mummel Gulf National Park, and depending on the road taken to the trig point is the number of country gates you will come across.
This is an intact concrete pedestal, with post, vanes, and name plate.
There is a lot of long grass on the approach, with rocks hiding, so caution is required.
