George Holman was the Draper in Tollesbury and had his shop in this building, Waterloo House, 2 East Street, built in 1906. It is now occupied by Game Estate Agents.

George advertised his business by painting a large sign on the west wall of the property. It said:-

                    GEO.HOLMAN
                      DRAPER
                     MILLINER
                  GENTS OUTFITTER
                  & BOOT MERCHANT
George lived in Tiptree at The Limes from at least 1886 to 1914 as referenced in Kelly's Directories for those dates. He was the Tollesbury draper in 1914.
