Dans le Parc qui porte le nom de Isaac Rawas près de la rue Marcel-de La Sablonnière. Un panneau d'information nous renseignes sur sa vie et sa grande participation à la ville de Ste-Thérèse.
Né le 8 Juin 1914 à Alexandrie en Égypte. Dès l’âge de 17 ans il entreprend une carrière dans l’industrie du textile. En 1953 il immigre au Canada avec sa femme et leurs trois filles.
Dès son arrivée à Montréal il découvre les grandes possibilités qu’offre l’industrie de la construction. 1964 avec son entreprise Les Résidence Météor il réalise un développement résidentiel de maison de qualité mais à faible coût.
Puis plusieurs quartiers de maisons et rues sont bâtis et même le parc-école Saint-Pierre premier du genre à Ste-Thérèse. Puis par la suite il entreprend le projet Les Jardins Blainville sur une période de réalisation de 20 ans. Et Le projet industriel Complexe Sicard est réalisé.
Artisan de sa réussite il avait pour valeur s L’intégrité, le courage, la persévérance et le respect.
Père de famille et homme de cœur Isaac Rawas aimait les belles choses et le travail bien fait.
Sensible et passionné de musique classique et perfectionniste il a conçu des maisons réputé et appréciées par les acheteurs.
La ville a décidé de nommer ce parc Isaac-Rawas afin d’honorer la mémoire de l’homme qui a marqué le développement industriel et résidentiel.

Born June 8, 1914 in Alexandria, Egypt. From the age of 17 he began a career in the textile industry. In 1953 he immigrated to Canada with his wife and three daughters.
