Pleasant Beach is part of the Pleasant Bay Crown Land Area and is open to the public for free. Located just south of the North Beach Provincial park, the beach is accessible via a small lane way.

The beach is open to dogs and horses. There are no amenities or life guards and is open from dusk til dawn. The area is good for sunbathing, swimming, riding, and walking.

For geocachers there is an earthcache and (as of this posting) geocache nearby.

Ontario Parks has proposed joining this area with North Beach but it hasn't happened yet, so go while you can!
