Osoyoos has quite an active Legion, with a current membership of around 600.

On 78th Avenue, this Legion is just one block north of the Crowsnest Highway and downtown Osoyoos. As mentioned, it is well supported, having a membership of 583 as of June, 2014. This does not mean that they're not scouring the town for new members.
Their building was built in 1946 and has been used continuously and exclusively as a legion. The Legion hosts a variety of of events and entertainment, such as Fish & Chip Nights, Karaoke nights, dances, Barbecues, Beer Gardens and, yes, even pig races.
