A large, low church with a large hall attached, it has a sanctuary toward the eastern side of the building with an octagonal upper section that rises a half storey above the rest of the building, with stained glass windows all around. Centered atop the sanctuary is a tall, slender spire topped with what appears for all the world to be a radio mast. The church is on the southwest corner of South Elm Street and East Hawthorne Avenue, across from Colville Center and the Colville Junior High School. There is an ample parking lot at the south side of the building.
A granite plaque with the name of the church, "United Methodist Church", and the date of construction, "1967", now surrounded by more recent stucco, is mounted in the wall to the right of the main entrance.
