"O obelisco é um monumento classificado construído a partir de uma pedra única. Este monumento, comemorativo da batalha do Buçaco e os feitos militares durante a guerra situam-se fora dos muros da mata.
No topo possui uma estrela com pontas de cristal e na base encontra-se uma coroa em bronze descerrada por D. Manuel II no ano de 1910. O monumento é circundado por uma corrente de ferro unida por oito peças de artilharia."

"The obelisk is a classified monument built from a single stone. This monument commemorating the Battle of Buçaco and other military feats during the war is situated outside the walls of the forest.
On the top there is a crystal tipped star and its base has a bronze crown unveiled by D. Manuel II, in 1910. The monument is enclosed by an iron chain joined by eight pieces of artillery."
