Not long ago, this building faced demolition, all in the name of "progress." Built in the 1960s as a gas station, it was last a Del Taco before they closed their doors and left St. Louis. In 2012, Starbucks and Chipotle moved in and gave the building new life, and both are popular with the nearby college crowd.

This is actually a fairly average-sized Starbucks -- it would be immense if they occupied the other side of the building where Chipotle is -- but its design with the high ceilings give the illusion of plenty of room. There is that, as well as plenty of seating outside on the patio.
They serve Starbucks Reserve Clover-brewed coffee here, too.

Review:
Getting on the road this morning to head to Michigan, Mrs. QDV wanted her Starbucks fix, and look what we found. I'm not the only person who says that sound can be bad in here, as the young lady taking orders misheard a few, including mine. That's not a big deal for me, as I just got a different type of coffee in my to-go mug, but those who are about to snap because they haven't had their fix, well, be sure to articulate well. Service was just fine otherwise, pretty quick!
