This orientation table is located on the top platform of the look-out tower on Schleifenberg, north of Liestal. The current table was added in 2014 by the local tourism association on occasion of its 125th anniversary, but I guess there were other orientation tables before.
From this tower you can see Liestal and the surrounding towns in the valleys of Ergolz and Frenke, the Jura mountains in the south and southwest, in the north parts of the Black Forest, and some peaks of the Alps on clear days.
