This little two bay wood frame fire hall has served Hedley and area for an untold number of years. Though the fire department/fire brigade has served the community for 102 years, we're not sure for how many years they have occupied this particular building. At present the department has three vehicles in its firefighting arsenal, a Binder, a ChryCo and a FoMoCo, listed below:
  • Engine 1 - 2010 International 4400 / Pierce (1050/860/25F) (SN#22420)
  • Engine 2 - 1973 Ford C900 / Pierreville pump (1050/500) (SN#PFT-351) (ex-Port Moody Fire Services)
  • 1973 Dodge Sportsman first response vehicle
