Patchwork Plus is a full-service quilt shop that offers a wide variety of quilting patterns and quilt books. Located in Dayton, VA just 4 miles outside Harrisonburg, VA, we also carry over 6000 bolts of 100% cotton fabrics including collections from Moda fabrics and P&B fabrics. If you love batik fabrics and flannel fabric, we have lots of those too. Quilting Kits are always available in sizes from table/runners to queen size quilts. Fat Quarters are available from all of the collections.

We are Susan, Cynthia, Mary, and Shirley - four ladies who love to laugh, celebrate, and quilt! Susan and Cynthia met over a wild game of spoons with their church youth group. They soon started meeting at the local tea shop along with Mary and Shirley to enjoy chatting, playing games, and making grandmother's flowers using English paper piecing. Cynthia had worked in a quilt shop in Fredericksburg before moving to the Valley last spring and was active in Prayers and Squares in Fredericksburg and Harrisonburg. Susan, Mary, and Shirley are lifetime residents of the Valley and own other businesses. Combined, our team represents decades spent in the business and retail worlds. Two of us know the life of the pastor's wife, the other two are PKs (Pastor's Kids).”

We have enjoyed getting to know the customers of Patchwork Plus and getting a front row seat in viewing their wonderful talent Our first week, we have worn crazy hats, visited with a talking dog, and struggled with new computers and aging software. We have worked until 1:00 a.m. only to find out that we didn't know how to turn out the lights. We have moved, dusted, and straightened almost every square inch of the store. Some things have made us wonder-"What is it?" others made us think -"Why?" and still others just plain made us giggle.
