Silver Park was build in 1923 when a land owner died and willed the property to the city. It is a very popular park. The are many things to do there like have birthday party's at the pavillions, feed the ducks at the pond, play tennis, play softball. Every 4th of July there is a big fireworks show, in Aug. there is Days in the Park for Carnation Days and a big Christmas decoration display in Dec.
