An der Wand im Inneren des Deutschen Weintors befinden sich die Ehrentafeln der hall of Fame. Zusätzlich gibt es zu jeder Tafel noch eine Bodenplatte als Walk of Fame. Zu den Geehrten Persönlichkeiten gehören beispielsweise Dr. Friedrich von Bassermann-Jordan (1873-1959) und Pierre Dom Pérignon (1638-1715).
Das deutsche Weintor in Schweigen-Rechtenbach nahe der deutsch-französischen Grenze markiert den Beginn der Deutschen Weinstraße. Neben der Touristen-Info befindet sich dort noch eine Vinothek mit regionalen Weinen und Spezialitäten.
There are boards of honor for special achievements in viniculture in the monument attached to the wall. In addition there is a Walk of Fame with one floor plate per board of honor. Some of the honored are e.g. Dr. Friedrich von Bassermann-Jordan (1873-1959) and Pierre Dom Pérignon (1638-1715).
“Deutsches Weintor” is a special historic tower-gate in Schweigen-Rechtenbach, which marks the entry to the Deutsche Weinstrasse (German Wine Route) near the German-French border. There is a small shop for local wine attached.
