Nlaka'pamux First Nation Cemetery is a rather small cemetery that is in keeping with First Nation customs and traditions.
Native grasses and other shrubs are evident throughout the cemetery. Most of the grave markers are made of wood in the form a cross and painted white. This is somewhat unique as most First Nation Cemeteries we have visit the grave markers are kept in their natural state.
Being the size of the cemetery it is approximated at about 150 grave sites.
Parking is limited, please do not park on the road, there should be enough room to pull off the road near the cemetery. You will need to walk up a steep bank to reach the cemetery.
