This ghost bike is located near one of the busiest bike routes in the metropolitan area.

On the north side of Lake Overholser, just east of the old Overholser Bridge, this ghost bike memorializes Chance Toles, a veteran cyclist who was killed nearing the end of a 100-mile charity bike ride. Apparently losing momentary control of his bike, he was struck by a motorist and died on August 10, 2013. These ghost bikes are a sad, sad sight along the roadways.
