A basic shelter suitable for six people roughly 50 yards off the Appalachian Trail. Water source is a small stream cross on the access spur to the shelter. A bear pole was installed in 2011 as an Eagle project (Waymark WMMFHH).

It is officially closed to use through the end of 2015 due to bear activity in the area, so please continue to the next shelter north (Vandeventer) or south (Laurel Fork).
Type: Shelter
