Not original to the site of Pandosy Mission, this 1900 log house has been moved twice, the second time to its place here at the mission.

Caretaker's Quarters

This early log cabin was originally built in 1900 in the East Kelowna area.

In 1947 it was dismantled log by log and reassembled on the G.D. (Paddy) Cameron Guisachan farm to be used by the Kelowna Riding Club. In 1968, Paddy Cameron donated the building to the Father Pandosy site. This time it was moved intact.

Immaculate Conception Mission

Founded in 1859 by Father Charles Marie Pandosy, an Oblate Missiomary, to serve the Native Okanagan People, this was the first Roman Catholic Mission in the interior of British Columbia.

Within the Okanagan Valley the mission was the first permanent non-native settlement, site of the first school and place where the first fruit and vine crops were grown.

Restored in 1958. Designated a Provincial Heritage Site in 1983. Operated by the Okanagan Historical Society.
