The big white St. Michael church with its churchyard marks the center of Lysabild village and can be viewed even from a distance. The large late gothic tower dates surely about 1400, the northern chapel seems to be much older (probably 12th century). There may have been a wooden church in earlier times. Lots of modification through the centuries (mostly around 1780) made the church look like it appears today. Inside there are famous gothic frescoes on the walls.
The churchyard is a quiet place worth visiting. Concerts take place on a regular basis in this church.
