This park was named after Linda who, accordingly to Estonian folk, was the wife of Kalev, the man who founded the city.
The park is located where once was a bastion of Swedish embankment and it was originally established in 1862.
Some of the trees here are old, about 250 years, and there are precisely 26 different species of trees.
