The chimney is all that remains of the first pine sawmill in Margaret River,the curved bricks being especially made for this chimney.
The chimney was used to burn off excess sawdust and timber off-cuts, the chimney was built in 1961 and operated until 1967 when a bigger mill was constructed nearby
