This cross is located at a small road through agricultural area from Neuwiller to Oberwil.
It is a stone cross shaped like wood. It is dated 1900, and at the base it has a German inscription (between 1871 and 1918 when the Alsace was German).
"Ihr alle die ihr am Wege vorübergehet stehet still und sehet ob ein Schmerz gleich sei meinem Schmerze".
Translated (the original wording is a bit awkward and outdated): "you all who pass by stand still and see whether a pain is equal to my pain"
