Friends and crocodiles starts in the frenetic Thatcher years and ends in the dot com bubble era. Paul Reynolds is an entrepreneur with a wild life style. He engages Lizzie Thomas to be his personal assistant. She takes inspiration from Paul’s drive and creativity, but is appalled by his chaotic lifestyle. Things come to a head when Lizzie calls the police when one of Paul’s parties gets out of hand. Lizzie moves on with her life and uses what she has learnt from Paul to climb the corporate ladder.
