Vor dem Peter Friedrich Ludwigs Hospital (kurz PFL), heute Sitz der Stadtbibliothek, des Kulturamtes der Stadt sowie eines Kulturzentrums, steht dieses von Chodja Ahmad Sediq im Jahre 1979 geschaffene Kunstwerk.
Für Fruchtbarkeit und quellendes Leben in einer schützenden Schale steht diese Skulptur. Die scheinbar aus- und ineinander wachsenden Teile werden durch eine rauhere Schale geschützt.
Die aus weißem Marmor geschaffene Skulptur "Schutz des Lebens" hat eine Höhe von 1,9 Metern und eine Breite von 1,1 Metern.
In front of the Peter Friedrich Ludwig's Hospital (short PFL), now the seat of City Library, the Cultural Office of the City as well as of a cultural centre, stands this work, created by Chodja Sediq Ahmad in 1979.
Fertility and swelling lives in a protective shell are the meaning of this sculpture. The seemingly off and into each other growing parts are protected by a rougher shell.
The sculpture "Schutz des Lebens" ("protection of life"), created of white marble has a height of 1.9 meters and a width of 1.1 meters.
