This National Park Service survey marker is located on the concrete pad that surrounds a pair of manhole covers. The marker is unlabeled so the title is based on its location near the Yosemite Lodge Hemlock building.

To reach the marker, take the paved trail that starts across from the bike rental booth and heads south-east behind the buildings. Follow the trail for 0.2 miles (0.35 km). The marker will be found on the south side of the trail on a large concrete pad that contains two manhole covers.
