Comprised of one long mural split into three parts, this mural is a nod to the early Route 66 heritage of Albuquerque.

The first panel depicts one of the early churches in the downtown area, one of the statues downtown, as well as giving a brief mention of Albuquerque's aviation heritage, in the form of a hot air balloon.

The second panel is a portrayal of the Pioneer Motel, the Loma Village Motel, and the Aztec Motel, all of which reside along the original Route 66. A B-52 Stratofortress streaks across the sky.

The third panel continues the motel theme with the appearance of the De Anza Motor Lodge, the Sunset Motel, and the El Camino Motel. In the sky, a modern-day Osprey aircraft is also shown.

All-in-all, this is a really nice mural amongst a sea of murals in the downtown area, and well worth a quick visit if you're ever in the area.
