Long Description:
This unique memorial recognizes not only Acoma warriors and veterans of the US Armed forces from the Acoma Pueblo, but all veterans.

A marble statue of an Acoma warrior in traditional attire on a pedestal faces an engraved arrowhead of granite with the seal of the Pueblo of Acoma. On the bottom the pedestal holding the arrowhead, five bronze seals of the US Armed Forces are arranged.

An American flag flies from a central flagpole on a granite pedestal behind the arrowhead. The central flagpole pedestal has a bronze dedication plaque on it.

Two granite flanking pedestals, also with flagpoles, have bronze plaques with the names of members of the American Legion Post 116 engraved on them.

Benches are arranged in a circle around the memorial.
