This relatively short covered bridge has had extensive work done on it, with new lumber on the sway braces and elsewhere. Located in or off of a private campground, it is closed to through traffic.

I don't know if the repair work was intended to bring the bridge up to State standards, but my brief reading on the subject of covrered bridges suggests that they probably didn't achieve their goal. Hopefully, in a few years the new lumber will age, and blend in better...
Current Condition of Bridge: Closed to vehicle traffic. Campground encourages hikers to use it to access State Forest though.
Description of Covered Bridge: I don't have specifics about this bridge, but it appears to be a Towne truss bridge like the Beaverkill Covered bridge, but it is shorter. It only has 2 sway braces - one at each end, rather than the 4 the Beaverkill bridge has. Other specs are probably similiar: 13 ft wide, with a 6.5 ft clearance.
 Year Built: 1860
Location (Road - City - State - Country): Sullivan County
 Web Address: Not listed
Parking (If not at the bridge):: Not listed
