This Leanto site felt rather cramped because the burdock and stinging nettle were encroaching on the firepit, which was very close to the shelter opening. Right on the FLT between Balsam Lake Mountain DEC. Parking and Wild Meadow parking.

There is a pit privy behind the Leanto, and water from Fall Brook readily available. Someone moved large slabs of shale into a kind of stadium seating in front of the Leanto, but honestly, who needs to be THAT close to the fire?

Also has an outhouse in the vicinity.
