This bivouac site is a little a unique in that there is a box on site with laminated pages of a notebook with interpretive nature descriptions, and several interpretive signs along the spur trail.

The spur trail is pretty badly eroded and overrun by ferns, but the blazes are pretty to follow, and the ground is nicely level with room for multiple tents. No outhouses that I could see. Consistent source of water nearby.
