These tenders, recenly installed in the Summer of 2014 are no doubt in preparation for the 100th anniversary of Balboa Park in 2015.
The green metal tenders take the shape of an old fashioned bicycle with the front wheel much larger than the back wheel...and a silhouette of the Park's Quadrangle Building with the words "Balboa Park" cut out in stencil form.
