Tábor (nemecky Tabor) je mesto na jihu Cech na rece Lužnici. Se svými 35 tisíci obyvateli je po Ceských Budejovicích druhým nejvetším mestem v Jihoceském kraji. Spolu se Sezimovým Ústím a Planou nad Lužnicí pak vytvárí mestskou aglomeraci se skoro 47 tisíci obyvateli. Mesto, jehož centrum je památkovou rezervací, je významným centrem turistického ruchu. Lákadlem pro návštevníky je zejména historie husitského hnutí.
