The Expired Parking Meter Tombstone was originally erected over the grave of Gordy Burdick (July 2, 1952 - January 28, 2003). Later he was joined by his wife Joyce Burdick (November 11, 1952 - July 8, 2011.
Each has their own brass plate riveted to the parking meter.
Below Joyce's name is the inscription:
