This sculpture is on the wall of a building looking like a community center or a State administrative unit of some kind. It represents a group of men fishing with a net and one who seems to buy a builder. The character of the sculpture has resemblance with the Socialist style as seen in many of these sculptures in Soviet Union and other countries under its influence. Finland was never Communist but - in a unique way - it was influenced by the nearby neighbor.

"This relief is located at the wall of Meritullin Seurakuntatalo (The parish house of Meritulli). The tile relief, "Pietarin kalansaalis", "St. Peter's catch", was made by Finnish sculptor Carl Wilhelm Wilhelms year 1951. It´s theme arises not from the soviet-style realism (despite the resemblance), but from the Bible(Luke 5:1-11): "When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.” But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.” And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking." The house itself was drawn by Finnish architect Jorma Järvi."
