Highway 52 is the county line between Banks and Hall Counties. The small town of Gillsville straddles the highway. Little remains of the downtown area on the Banks County side, but it is the location for the parking lot for the Hall County structures--including the Gillsville Public Library (see the nearby Library Waymark).
