The creator of the headstone put a little emphasis on detail on most of the capital letters, and the inscription is:
Eugene
Infant son of Alpheus
and Virginia Porter
born April 27th, 1879,
Died May 18th, 1879.
There is a small ribbon depicted underneath the inscription, and it says "Of such is the kingdom" and "of Heaven" right below.
