This work was created by sculptor Axel Cassel in 2003. The seven individual sculptures are located in the Saint Gilles neighborhood of Brussels. According to Axel Cassel's website, he makes these types of sculptures out of terra cotta (visit link) . At the top of each of the seven sculptures is a small head with a face that simply looks like a round knob until you get up close. Each statue rests on a square concrete base.
