Diese kleine Gedenktafel am Haus Steinweg 30 in Oldenburg erinnert daran, daß hier Otto Suhr geboren wurde. Die Inschrift lautet:

Otto Ernst Heinrich Hermann Suhr (* 17. August 1894 in Oldenburg (Oldb.); † 30. August 1957 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Politiker der Sozialdemokratischen Partei Deutschlands (SPD). Er war Mitglied des Parlamentarischen Rates, des Berliner Abgeordnetenhauses, des Deutschen Bundestages und Direktor der Deutsche Hochschule für Politik. Vom 11. Januar 1955 bis zu seinem Tod war er Regierender Bürgermeister von Berlin.

Otto Ernst Heinrich Hermann Suhr (* 17. August 1894 in Oldenburg (Oldb.); † 30. August 1957 in Berlin) was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD). He was a member of the Parlamentarischer Rat (the West German constituent assembly), of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin, of the German Bundestag and Director of the Deutsche Hochschule für Politik (German Academy for Politics). He served as the Governing Mayor of Berlin from January 11th, 1955 until his death.
