Als Signet der Stadt Dessau entstand der Neubau der Fuß- und Radwegbrücke über die Mulde als dreidimensionales Kunstwerk: ein sich durch die Landschaft und über die Mulde schlängelnder Spazierweg.
Die neue Brücke verbindet die Stadt mit dem vorderen Tiergarten. Um einen Eingriff in den Flusslauf zu vermeiden, wurde auf eine Lösung mit Brückenpfeilern verzichtet. Über dem Stahlkasten-Hohlträger befindet sich ein Stahlrohrbogen in einer geneigten Ebene, von dem der Wegträger mit Rundstahlstäben abgehängt ist und gleichzeitig den Bogen stabilisiert. Die Hänger umreißen einen begehbaren Raum, der das Überqueren des Flusses zum besonderen Erlebnis werden lässt.

A meandering through the countryside and across the river walk: As a signet of the city of Dessau, the new building of the pedestrian and bicycle bridge over the Mulde as a three dimensional work of art was created.
The new bridge connects the city with the front Tiergarten. To avoid interference with the course of the river, was waived a solution with bridge piers. Above the steel hollow box girder, a steel tube arch in an inclined plane, from which the off-vehicle with round steel rods is suspended and simultaneously stabilizes the arc. The trailer outlines a walk-in space, which can be a special experience to cross the river.
