Chicago O'Hare International Airport is the largest in the state of Illinois. United Airlines is the largest user of the airport for passengers. It accounts for 45% of all passengers who fly in and out of the airport. That airline is what I flew in and out of here from Richmond, Virginia to Los Angeles. The airport consists of 9 concourses and in 2005 it was named the busiest airport in the country, before Atlanta stole the title a few years latter. The airport is mainly used for a hub to smaller airports to larger ones across the east coast and mid west, but it also has numerous direct flight to many countries abroad.
