Honoring the men and women of Rutherford County who served our country in World Wars one and two and dedicated to the everlasting memory of those who made the extreme sacrifice in those great conflicts for the freedom of all men thruout the world

Description of Memorial: Originally a central column with right and left wings. The column carried the text of the emotion of the memorial while the wings carried the names of the fallen.
In May of 1977 two smaller wings were added for Korea and Vietnam, and even later inscription on the Korean wing for Iraq took place.
