Danubius Fountain - Vienna, Austria - Figurative Public Sculpture on Waymarking.com

This marble fountain was sculpted by Johann Meixner. The fountain is known as the Danubias Fountain because it depicts the River Danube as a man with a young woman who represents the City of Vienna. A cherub sits at their feet. Underneath, three mermen hold up the three other figures on circular platforms.
